Mag: online now we have news about @SchoolsWorld and their rise from the ashes of teachers tv. Welcome back :)

The PCCGB was set up in 1992 by four serving Metropolitan Police officers who wished to address the growing problem of young people roaming London’s inner-city streets. They wanted to open a facility where children could be safe, learn discipline, and participate in sporting activities. And so they opened the first PCCGB boxing gym.
In the intervening years the organisation has grown to encompass a network of clubs that stretches across the country. However, the board of serving and retired officers have ensured that the mission remains the same; helping young people to understand the importance of good citizenship.
To achieve this goal, the PCCGB is involved in a number of sporting and educational projects:
Barney & Echo Learning Resources – A series of story books, plays and learning aids that are used in UK schools to support PSHE lessons at key stage 1-2
Stolen Lives – A peer education programme that uses the input of young people to address the problem of weapon crime
Prevent – A Home Office project designed to engage with youngsters at risk of radicalization
Contender Am-Box –An Amateur Boxing Association-accredited programme of coaching that has been delivered to thousands of youngsters
