Tories get tough on homophobic bullying
The Conservatives have vowed to introduce tougher penalties for homophobic bullying in schools, Tory shadow minister George Osborne has announced.
Under the current appeals system, bullies can be returned to school following expulsion. But new Tory plans would see appeals scrapped leaving headteachers and governors with the final say.

Homophobic bullying film sent to schools
The first feature film produced to fight homophobic bullying in schools has been distributed to secondary teachers across the UK.
